Forza 2 - MASSIVE CR giveaway #4
So far 40+ mil has been won but ive just sold a couple of decent cars and thought id use the credits for the next few challenges.
This next one is such a laugh and a little bit different. Its not about the fastest lap or the best driver and everyone who enters automatically gets 1,000,000 credits each.
So, the details. Its called Cat&Mouse and this is how it works. We have 1 mouse and upto 7 cats. The idea is for the Mouse to complete one lap of the Nurburgring in less than 20mins, while being chased and rammed off the track by the following Cats
Easy? Well heres the twist, the Mouse has to be in a standard C class car of their choice, the Cats can be in anything tuned upto U class
After each race we will swap the Mouse, so everyone has a chance of winning the BIG PRIZE!
1,000,000 automatically for entering.
10,000,000 for every driver that manages to do a lap in less than 20mins.
It means we have to get as many people online at the same time as possible. So whens good for you guys (i cant do fridays/saturdays). Wednesday 8pm/9pm?
Sound good?

I don't mind trying to run the gauntlet first - How much head start do I get
Will it be full contact / damage and when you say standard C class can we go up to the PI maximum which is 550 I think for C

No damage, lol. You would defo not make a full lap haha.
Ben, any C class car should be chosen from the game rather than your garage and you will get a 20 second head-start. I havent ran this using C class cars before, only tuned D class, so im not sure what differences it will make. It might make it too easy lol. If thats the case i'll choose a sensible C class car for everyone to run
So, sounds like Wednesday it is, starting at 8pm

i think we should all think about what car we can all use.. in C CLASS
makes it a bit fair..
E.G C CLASS mk2 Golf.. & it can be tuned to its max PI!!!
then we are all running away in the same car, up to you how fast it goes.... LOL
(Just an IDEA)

For the reserves, if they want to create their own game, we'll let you know the details beforehand.
ie: what car were using and how much headstart the mouse gets.....etc etc
that way you can have some fun too.... and believe me, it is fun!!!
[baz look away]keep a few beers beside you as well [baz you can look back again now]

We had a bit of a play with this last night, Mark RB5 and I gave Ben a 20 second head start in his C Class Evo.
He was at the bridge before we even left the line but we managed to close the gap fairly quickly.
We then spent the rest of the night laughing our asses off
We didn't have TCS or STM on and with U class we were lsoing the plot every time we went on the grass and couldn't get going again, meanwhile Ben was scampering off
I think the problem we had (and it dawned on us on the finish straight) was that we were caning it along and ploughing straight into the back of poor Ben but actually pushing him forward faster than he would have been going under his own power
With 1 mouse and 2 cats Ben managed to finish in the early 13 minutes. BUT if you took penalties into account it was over 22 minutes.
What will constitute a winning time for the purposes of the game? less than 20 minutes "real time" or less than 20 minutes "game time"?

We'll need to agree on a standard car, probably something mid range from the game garage, rather than your own garages.

I agree we need one car to use as the mouse, preferbly not AWD and suggest something RWD with no TCS or STB!!!
Was thinking of the cadillac cts-v as its got a bit of weight behind it and will take a few knocks
