Radio controlled cars
I posted this up a while ago, now the weather is changing (touch wood ) Does anyone fancy a blast somewhere for a spot of racing/offroading and a general laugh?
This is my truck, a Thunder Tiger SSK - 1/10 scale, 15cc engine, 2 speed gearbox, ventilated disk brake, long travel oil filled suspension, aluminium chassis and full ball bearing kit.

Need fuel for mine, anyone recommend anywhere local?
How much do you guys know about these things. Mine is pretty new although i have had it about 3 years Never got time to really use it. I think it may need a bit of "tuning" to get it running right.

I remember we tried to organise this before, the stumbling block was the venue.
Any ideas this time?
As you can see in the pic above, mine isn't really an offroader, maybe a bit of dirt but not really rough stuff.

Nice find RSF!!
I wonder what the rules are if a "On road" car is in front and an "Off road car is behind and can't overtake, is it legal for us to run over them
Joking aside, this should be a good laugh, and this WILL go ahead especially as there's now 2 venues

pls count me in chaps!!!
got 2 off roaders (gs storm and kyosho Mad Force)
1 Kyosho V1S 10th Touring car (needs a quick repair)
and a recently acquired tamiya drift car... (needs to be indoors really...)
i might be able to offer a couple of loan cars (if not, people can certainly use mine) thats what i bought them for, not to look at!!!
i can organise any fuel or spares as well (my mate owns a shop) beforehand and bring it with me (cost prices only!!!)

I've got a Schumacher buggy that I changed into a stadium truck and used to race it at Harwood Hall in Upminster as a kid.
Haven't used it in years, it's electric and will defo need some new batteries if nothing else!!
Dazza, you going to the Lodge tonight?? I've been toying with the idea of converting it to petrol, your mate sounds handy for bits and advice
I'd defo be interested in coming along, even if it's only to watch!

Nice one Dazza, will need some fuel definitely, my stuff is over 2 years old and I think is probably past its best, don't know what the shelf life is of this stuff.
This is the stuff that came with it.
