Meeting 10:30am @ Boreham Services ~ Leaving @ 11:00am

Please drive past McD's / BP / Travel Lodge & park @ rear of the lorry park

We should finish driving @ about 14:00 & have a late lunch @ a pub

Will include "The Burnham Bends" !!!
Very well known in the Bike World !!!
Great fun in or on anything with wheels !!!

I didn't realise YOU had been a victim of the bends

. Mrs Sticks ended up in a ditch about 6 months after we moved out there ,takes it a lot easier now

Just a tip when you go there chaps , take care as you enter Burnham as our local spped trap muppetts like to hide their van by the school so keep it to the speed limit as they love to up their tally by catching a few bikers at the weekend

Oh yes fraid so

( Not as such as the BB ) But the short blat from Latch to home )

Up the long straight( Past the shooting ground on the right ) into the tight of camber right hander @ the top , Back end all light 360 Degree spin in middle of road & then ditch facing back where we had come from

Informed police that i needed recovering & they blamed diesel fuel spiilled on the road by all the local tractors

Nothing to do with speed

Hence that bend gets treated with alot of respect now

Yep exactly the same bend as Mrs S , except she was going the other way , shot across the other side of the road (nothing coming thankfully), took out the road sign and hedge and ended up in the field backwards . Car was a Toyota Celica ., damaged nearly every panel.....tough old tank (And the car

) I think she was the second of 3 that day to loose it on that bend according to plod

So back on topic....have fun on the bends , but treat them with respect

we did not leave till around 11.30, you should have come. We started with 12 but lost one very quickly. Finished driving around 14:30 after doing the bends twice at 30-40 mph. Up to Bradwell via the marsh road, great fun, then back into Chelmsford to see some entertaining driving by an Evo - not!!
