A little reminder to everyone that Tolleshunt Knights is a quiet village so please drive carefully and quietly (as possible ) when turning up and leaving the fete, there are a lot of horses in the area too.

 

Now the Matching Green show has passed we are on to the next one at Tolleshunt Knights. Plenty of cars coming from Scoobycity.

Can I just turn up and pay at the gate ? I will be there if weather is good.
Will be good to you both again if possible. Its not much further than Matching Green, say 10 miles more , but less boring in a way , less of the M25 and more 1

 

Ok I will finish what I wanted to say , my Laptop crashed before I could get the mail finished and somehow the uncomplete message was sent.

Ok the roads will be mainly A roads so less boring M roads . I will enjoy that,
How many cars were there last year? worth the travel , and will understand if you wish to keep it to Essex cars , for the Fete.

We can pre-meet at Lynfields BP garage just off the A12 at Witham. If we can be there for 11.00am to leave @ 11.15am

There is no fee at the gate Paul for "Show Cars" just a £3 donation given to Sue our chief organiser once parked up. They like everyone to be on site by 12.30 before the public start arriving @ 1.00pm.

Paul there is no problem with a non Essex car turning up as this is being organised primarily by Scoobycity who are a mainly East Anglian club but have members nationaly, so the more the merrier. There will be Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex & Kent cars there. (if you come ) The ESC in previous years have just added their support to the event.

This event is first & foremost a traditional village Fete rather than a car show. So our cars are just there to add to the stalls & other displays in the ring.

Just loading a few bits.

We have another car from my way joining us at Witham. Joey & Dan from over on Scoobycity.

Hopefully not to wet in Medway so Paul can join us as well.

So just a small convoy this time.

 

We had a great day. Good to catch up with the old gang & to meet up with some new ones.

Invested a couple of pound on the tombola & came away with 4 bottles. Result.

Had a nice cream tea & chilled out in the sun. No rain to speak of till we were home & indoors.

Well done Paul on winning the cup for the best car.

Hi all,
I am so sorry in the delay reagrding the delay in putting a post up .
I have had a few minor family issues that have made it slightly difficult to post.

Ok what a lovley day I had and belive we all had . I thought it would be a bit quiet, However , found plenty to see and do and had a great time . And to boot a trophy! That was a suprise, with may worthy cars there. Many thanks also for being part of your team Mark and always a pleasure having a chat with you .
Shame though that we had a small number of cars this time. Maybe more next year?

Shame I will not be able to make this wekends show, but hope to see you sooner than later at one of your Essex shows.

it was a good day and well done paul for winning the trophy and yeah hopefully i would have some new bits on the car but at the moment looking into having the swirl marks taken out the paint work
