Today saw the arrival of 40 new latest spec. BIZ corporate Prokarts. Fully equipped and fitted with 320cc Honda engines, these karts are capable of reaching speeds in excess of 70MPH!



Workshop Manager, Don O'Sullivan, commented, "The new karts have really impressed me, with newly engineered chassis' and over 10kg lighter they are certainly a little more responsive and incredibly stable during cornering. As a company we have a policy of constant preventative maintenance - this keeps reliability and uniformity as high as it possibly can be. But by regularly replacing our whole fleet we can supply a product that is cutting edge in both design and safety features - it's a kart we're extremely proud of"



Scott Law, Circuit Manager (and former Junior National Kart Champion), added, "The response has been great - all the staff have commented how fantastic the bright red chassis and decals look, and they're definitely quick - the lap record is sure to go! I test drove a few of them earlier and was surprised at just how similar to a race kart they are now – the team at BIZ have clearly worked hard over the last year".

Altho maybe not a good idea, if they are faster that means the fence might get penetrated now.

i just heard this from my boss, his trying to get us in for an hour session nxt month, champion

 

question what happend to the other karting event did it already happen or was it canned ?

i tryed to look for it last night and couldnt find it in 4 pages

i can remember going to lakeside karting with the subaru/robin rep that i met at motorsport international lakeside karting was demoing the engine's to see how they performed against the honda engine karts they already had

good news though well up for a try out


also have a work thing at buckmore park using RX7 Sport karts should be fun fun fun !!

 

perhaps just a wander down one weekend and join in with whatever is going on.

Rhybeck - other karting event was planned for the 18th July i think. Most likely a link in the diary thread sticky at the top of the forum

 

I`am up for this but I think we should keep it small maybe all go on an arrive and drive day. I think wozza`s kart event has died when I last looked I was the only one who had paid the deposit.

Maybe Wozza knows different?

They have availability on Monday 20th July at 7.25 or 8.00

Cost is £25.00 for 30 mins (half normal price)

If you want to go we need money up front at time of booking.

Payment needs to be made by next weekend if poss, they are
holding the slot for us until then.

First 15 (max) to pay me get the track time. If we don't get 15
we may have to share the track with others.
