After 12 long hard days I'm back from Germany, this was the result....
The most powerful super computer in Europe, and the 3rd in the world
72 frames, 32 nodes per frame, 32 quad core CPU's per node, so that's a total of 294,912 processor cores
performance should peak at 1 petaflop.

Had one day off whilst there, so had to pop along to the Ring, didn't go on but enjoyed the atmosphere, it was closed for over an hour just as I arrived, due to 2 bikes and a £43K Caterham having an off, apparently due to oil on the circuit
, I do hope all were OK the bikes looked a right mess. Saw a couple of UK scoobies on the circuit, not sure if anyone know's who they are? I got some pics of them if they are interested...

As you'd expect there were loads of porkers on the circuit...

some other marques

How insane is this.....

Welcome home! Looks like it wasn't all work & no play!
What nutters on the bike - you've got to have 100% trust in the rider!!
Cracking photos!
Thats some 'puter you've been playing with - not a laptop I take it! And what is a petaflop (sounds like something in my greenhouse!)
So, we'll be seeing you for the cruise tonight then..................or has MrsB4 got other ideas??

It took 12 days to sort it! And I`ll bet it was only the fuse mind you I suppose it could of took 12 days if you walked slowly just to find the plug.

four weeks in total to install it, we added an additional 5 rows (40 frames) to their existing system, I was there for the second block of 2 weeks, so I got to see the finished system
I hope to pop along to the cruise, but I'm oncall this weekend

Just been explaining to Coz what it is you've been doing & showing her the pictures of the 'computer'. Her question (she is only 11 and does have me as a mother) 'where's the screen......................'

On a serious note, who / what is this computer for, if you are allowed to say, of course?

I know the owner of the R500. I'm not going to go into details but it was a big one. His passenger is still in hospital
Bikers were OK, one is a marshal and got straight up to help the driver and passenger of the R500.
