Matt, kit cars and any 'open wheel' cars are not allowed in TA

And yes looked very quick and was very well built.

Warren's RS was gorgeous, finished 13th FI in club.

Tommy, only ran 1 lap in qual and did not run it the final, so I assume he had a tech issue. He was really going for it, but very ragged.
Frayz, do you know if he used to race karts about 10-14 years ago, sure I remember the name

nice pics mark.

did you experiment with shutter speeds while there???

1/80 gave me this amount of blur ..... which gives a good impression of speed.

although the failure rate can be quite high, due to the need to track the subject (lol) accurately!! - especially at a distance...!!

I did a few, but like you said, very hit and miss, tend to have a slightly out of focus looking car.

yeah, but the pictures are well worth the extra crap ones....

use predictive focus, or fixed focus (if you know the exact place the car will be) in this second mode, you can get some fantastic "wide format shots" in the case of the next picture... showing the undulations of the track as well and zak giving it some beans, off centre of picture)

nice shot dazza.

i know these aren't of the ta but this is a similar technique used to what you mentioned with a little bit of tracking as well.

the slower shutter speeds are def worth it. this is what can be had:
