hi guys,
i'm about again, at last. Family has been ill and a member may not be with us for much longer but he's hanging on in there at the moment. He is well into his 80's though, but still not a nice time.
work has been a nightmare, first it was silly busy, and still is, then i got told to cut my internet usage or i'll be out the door. doh! but my own fault really.
still, i handed my notice in today as i have a new job. at long last i'll be able to go in do my 9 - 5 and get home. again i'll have time to pay attention to the esc and the detailing side of things. plus i got a payrise out of it too.
my ra has been seriously neglected lately. i've sold the vauxhall ashtray coupe and only have the scooby now. but there are plenty of parts waiting to go on the ra. i'll have to start a frayz style tuning thread
i don't really get time to get on the net at home due to the nipper and the missus. with the little time i do get at home at the moment they come first. divorce was looking likely and no matter how much i love my cars i'm not letting them get in the way of what i love more.
right that's enough of that soppy sh*t. roll on the weekend. first relaxed whole weekend in a while i hope.

First of all, sorry to hear all the problems you have been going through. Hope all is well now and you get your life back together again.
On a side note, there is another thread waiting for your attention

No probs Phil, Have a booking for the 8th of Dec so need it for then. but so far this month other than that take your pick. I'll always come and give you a hand if you want? tackle both of your cars on the same day if you want?
imo i'd stick to a pc. much safer for the home user and still very effective in the right hands. if you think you need anything more than the pc it's a case of one of or combination of the following:
wrong level of polishing pad being used,
wrong level polish being used,
wrong method,
and the most important one, not knowing how to do it lol
depending on how bad the paint is it may be a case of respray anyway.
all stronger machines will really do is speed up the process but this can be very dangerous. you can burn straight through your paint at worst. another less serious effect, but that still look awful, is hologramming. you normally get this from rotary machines but you may find you get it with a 240v dual action machine too.
