A few of us have been looking into going to the Wales GB Rally on 30 Nov - 2nd Dec.

The organisers have many options available, but one which does look appealing is this one Wales Rally GB : Rally Weekend Package

Plus for an additional suppliment, we could stay here Principal Hotels

Now comes the crunch, its not cheap !! My thoughts are (especially if taking partner / wife) it could be a very nice weekend particularly so close to Christmas.

I have emailed the Hospitatlity people at WalesGB to see what they can offer and get more specific details of what the package includes and specification of rooms etc.

Having not been to one of these events in the past, this is all pretty new to me.

So, i welcome any advice, past experiences or ideas to make this a good trip. I certainly intend on going, but its the difference between sleeping under some cupboard in the street or staying in a nice hotel as something SPECIAL and spending a few more £££s.

Secondly, i would like to get an idea if other people are intersted in coming. That way if there was a group of us, we could perhaps get a group discount at a hotel and we would all be in the same place to have some fun. Thier emphasis this year is on corporate bookings, so lets see what they have to offer.

Went up on the Sunday last year (long day) to the service at Swansea found the experiance intresting if Bl**dy wet and cold.
Would very much like to make a weekend of it if possible this year.

 

Last year the Sunday got extremely cold lucky the VIP tent has heating

Me and MrBush are now fully booked for this one .

Friday Day Pass, Saturday Millennium Stadium stage and a nice "small" Hotel to stay in.........Paris will be pleased were putting money into her trust fund .

Word of warning, if other people are thinking of going, get in quick. Tickets and Hotels are selling VERY fast, thus the hotel booking, not a lot left.

Did you get your signed photos from Prodrive? We had almost given up on them coming & thought they had forgotten about them.Then ours turned up yesterday.

Same here mate, our Prodrive signed photos arrived Monday. Quite good really. I'm guessing its Petter SOLBERG that has signed them ?

 

Yep the man himself.That's probably why they took a while getting them done. Nice little unexpected added touch.

MENCAP 2008 oh yes. That's one of the weeks in my leave request.
