hi i have a re-map by andy forrest on my sti hatch using race rom,launch control,rev blip,full throttle gear change,question is,what does rev blip do? and how do you use the launch control,the map was on the car when i bought it and the last owner didnt really know what to do

I believe 'rev blip' is where it blips the throttle on downshift. The rest I can't answer. Hope you find the answer soon.

 

Yea rev blip should happen when changing down gear,engine breaking (it does this standard on nissan 370z). And launch should work if you put it in first gear at a stand still with clutch to the floor,press accelerator all the way down and revs should only go to a set amount of revs ie. Somewhere between 3000 & 5000rpm.if it red lines then unless there is another way someone knows then you probably dont have launch control fitted

If it has racerom, does it have the extra map? The features might be active on that?
