this is one for all the gurus out there
could anyone tell me what car this ecu came off

i was told that it was from a 2002 subaru impreza sti type uk prodrive ecu but when i plugged it in and had it coded all it did was throw up error codes for the cam position sensor, and the fella at the subaru garage told me that prodrive ecu's are just normal bugeye ones that have a prodrive map on them, if thats true surely it should be a V3 ecu and not a 3D one

by the way mines a bugeye wrx

This 3D ECU looking like is it from UK/EDM WRX STI V7 ECU

This ECU can't be used on yours WRX,because you are not running AVCS and other bits which running STi

Right so you can't use a sti ecu in a wrx. At least I know for next time
