I have s brand new syvecs ecu and was wondering if there is anyway of having a Base map put on it so that I can get my new 2.1 engine started and running, then after a few hundred miles change all the oils and that and get a proper map on it?

I asked Andy Forrest and he says he doesn't deal with syvecs anymore, another guy I was gonna ask is out of action after an accident he had so kinda stuck lol
Jamie @ Evotune in Durham installed and mapped the Syvecs on my car and has dialed in remotely to trim things on the car before. He may be able to do something if you ask him.
I would put money on it the reputable company that Syvecs are will not have a base map installed as there are too many variables with each different engine and fuel for that matter for them to risk their reputation on a base map destroying an engine. Who did you purchase the ECU of they should be able to install it for you. Failing that its onto a trailer and get a safe running in map on it. I would not want to run about on basically a generic map for a couple of hundred miles.
If it was just a straightforward plug n play, then contact Syvecs support and they may be able to assist.
Anything other than that, then as Joe says, there are variables that could result in issues with supplying a map without knowing exactly how your setup is wired and configured.
