Default CEL - can it be read

got a 2006 wrx sti. threw up a CEL after a tiny splutter this morning.

is there anyway to manually read the code without a reader.

No it cant, only the classics were readable by connecting the wires under the dash, sorry code reader required.

Get it read anyhow, could be in the historic file and always good to know what caused it just in case there is an issue.
