Default Need help for Evoscan on Impreza Gf8 V4 (non sti)

Hello Everybody,

I didn't find information on the forum...
And I'm quite disappointed as I didn't receive answers from the evoscan support, despite several requests...

So I bought the specific evoscan cable and software (from Evoscan)

The problem : in the software , my car/ecu is not in the list
Subaru impreza gc8 (non-sti wrx / gt) - ECU is standard MY1998,JECS 9S / AD200 / A18-000 D32

I can connect to the car, and log by selecting the only ECU in the list which "works" : SSMI A30113 (when i look at some values like speed, rpm,...)
but I have bad values for Boost (MRP), Atmo Press...

And I can only connect @1953 bauds (really bad sample)which is really far from the 9600 bps of ssm...

So the car/ecu def is not the good one, and sample rate as well.

So I don't know how to solve this issue

Thanks for your help or ideas

Hi there,

What ECU options are available in the list? The 9S ECU would be best described the Euro version of the 8S UK Turbo ECU. If you have the option for 8S try to use that.

Hi Thanks,
The trouble is that I don't have any correspondance table between Evoscan ECU "ID" and Subaru ECu Label on the casing (9S...)

A few snapshots of the interface of evoscan software, if it can help.
If someone knows how to find correspondance between Ecu "name" from evoscan and usual subaru ecu id (9S, ad200,...)
Or maybe the other option should be to know the request id in the evoscan to make a custom xml (can user customized) to fit my 9S / AD200 Ecu

Evoscan full interface

OK, I know that is not the most interesting thread
But I will try to feed it if it can be helpfull for someone...
So I had a look at the contend of my ESL stuff for the same car and I saw the param :SSMVersion: A30113
Ecu A30113 is the good one
Then I install Evoscan Software on another laptop (win 8.1) with a well running configuration for cable OpenPort 2.0, ecuflash 1.44 and RomRaider
I plug my Evoscan Cable
I had an error

But Loggin was OK without any Error

No Error as well on cluster, values seems OK...
