Syvecs PnP vs GP
Is there any difference or benefit of choosing the Syvecs S6 GP over the S6 PnP ?
Does the GP have extra features ?
S6 is the one i have been looking into.

End up with an S12 and per cylinder widebands
Didn't know they had forums tho i may well try there,
From what i read the PnP loses pin outs compared to GP but not sure when this would become an issue on a road car.
Supposedly they can be setup to work with existing sensors too, save me buying new oil temp, pressure, egt etc..

May be a little cynical, but i find when u ask places that sell the stuff for advise all you get is a longer, more expensive list to buy.

PNP is plenty for a road car (and most competition cars too) and is much easier and cheaper to install than making a bespoke loom adaptor for the GP version.

Out of curiosity when would you want to switch of funds allowed.
I see you can get s8 & s12
Price made my eyes bleed
Are those just for engines with more cylinders ?

They have different hardware and more Inputs and outputs so you can run more injectors, control more fuel pumps etc.
The PnP kit will fit your needs perfectly for a road car. The safety features and engine protection on the syvecs are worth the price tag IMO as this is something you simply dont get with the likes of Link

Yea the PnP would appear to be the way to do it.
Can you tell me what inputs your running and what was the limit of the PnP ?
What did you add that needed the S8 ?

The plug and play has 16 inputs not all are used as standard depending on the year of car etc. http://www.syvecs.co.uk/forum/ That has all the pinouts for all years.
I have changed to Drive by wire
Oil pressure sensor
Oil temp
Trans temp
2 x wide bands
Etc
Other advantage is I now have 8 mb of loging

Guess you use em one per bank ?
Would hate to spend so much and end up limited,
Looks like i have a little more reading to do before i make the leap

Syvecs is fantastic they even add features if they think it's of benefit.
I asked for ignition retard gear dependent so I can pull a small amount of timing in the high gears for high speed runs, it was added quite quickly
