Default Swapping a standard Hawkeye ecu for a pop ecu

Hi everyone this is my 1st time posting. Ive recently bought a 07 wrx wagon standard 227bhp and as we all do I want a little more power. I've managed to acquire all the parts I need to add the ppp relitivly cheap but need some advice on how to go about the ecu change. I have the ecu the keys and the lock set if I swap the ecu the barrel and use the key that came with the ecu will it fire straight up or do I need to do anything else thanks in advance

You do not need any of that for PPP figures. I run standard Hawkeye WRX with just a back box and a panel filter upgrade. Had the car mapped by Duncan (Racedynamix) at Roger Clark Motorsport and I got 267 bhp and 345ft ib @ fly. 400 notes well spent. You will have to tune it after you fit it anyway. Car now pulls hard.
