An *AH990 is the standard ECU from a MY03 WRX STi as has been written on it.
Only way to tell if it's been remapped for PPP by Subaru/Prodrive is by interrogating it with ecutek

Ring Prodrive. They have a record of every registration number of every vehicle that has their ECU map installed. The info is free and easy to obtain!

TOMMY, my 2005 STI has "STi 05 xxxxx" written in black marker on standard ecu just like yours. It's has the PPP definitely - (All parts, Certificate, the little silver sticker saying upgraded performance please tell insurers, and was rolling roaded at 288hp/296lbft at Indigo GT a few years back). I was under the impression most of not all newages are like this.

Cheers, Sam.

It's 2 letters a few numbers yes, although I can't remember what they are. It's making 1.4 ish bar showing on a Defi Link gauge.

You say yours has a silicone pipe under the inter cooler - be aware that all STi came with a red silicone pipe as standard anyway.

It was the WRX PPP that swapped the standard black plastic pipe to a Blue Prodrive Silicone one

What model do you have bigredrob? If it's a GB270, then yes it would have a blue Prodrive pipe. All GB270 came with the WRX PPP fitted as standard which included a blue pipe.

STi did not get a replacement pipe as part of PPP as the standard red silicone/metal Y pipe is strong enough on the intercooler.

The OP should have a red pipe, not sure why his would be blue to be honest?

Thanks for reply that's great mine was boost just under 1.1bar with no restrictor pill I put a 1mm in and boost went well over 1.7 so removed think I must have split pipe then put 1 in around 2mm or there abouts maybe 1.8mm and goes to just under 1.2bar iv got a feeling 0.9 would cause over boost so might have to try 1.2 next and see what happens but at least I know it's looking at peak around 1.3bar now really appreciate it
