Default V2 STI555 ecu

Hi Guys

had an impreza for 17yrs, current impreza for the last 10yrs which is a v2 sti555.

The engine is completely stock, standard ecu, never been mapped and always ran on Super unleaded. Never had any issues or noticeable knock on the sensors i have installed.

i have been out of touch on the modding scene for the last few years as i concentrated more on handling than anything else but i am wondering if i do alittle with the ecu to just get alittle more power out of it.

Is the esl 92/6 board the one to go for ?

if motorsport features aren't a deal breaker then the ESL board is a good fit, you can have twin maps to switch between (maybe track day fuel vs regular fuel or aggressive vs softer daily map) and you should stand to gain a few ponies as well once a few modifications have been carried out. Main items to tinker would be:
Exhaust
Fuel pump
Induction kit (with resonator box delete)
Fuel Regulator
Dump valve

With that out of the way keep your eyes out for larger intercooler, 97/00 map sensor and some 550's - once mapped in you'll see a good difference in the car without pushing the maf/gearbox/turbo too hard.
