Angry Anyone local to Hitchin able to give me some advice?

I've had a 2001 2.0 Sport for a couple of years now and was just getting ready for it's MOT tomorrow when I noticed the O/S/F spring has snapped (haven't used it for ages)

Normally I'd just get a new one and be done with it, however I vaguely remember the previous owner mentioning something about possibly different springs/suspension or some such. Would anybody local to Hitchin/Henlow be able to come and offer a more experienced eye or tell me what to look out for so I know what I need to be buying?

Thanks in advance

If the car is lowered you won't be able to see much from the springs. You'll need to measure the ride height and compare with standard height. Shocks should be easier to tell if they are different. Pop a picture up in the tech section and someone should be able to tell you.

As for replacement parts:

Part number 20330FA430, I think

from here http://opposedforces.com/parts/impre...hock_absorber/

Available to buy from here http://importcarparts.co.uk

Hope you fix it
