Default Whiteline camber/caster topmount kit

I've been eyeing up different adjustable topmount options and stumbled across this kit from Whiteline.

Question is are they any good? My car is a 5mile a day driver, but will be ofter used for fast road and track day fixes. My car is a Bugeye running approx 360bhp.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280939586030?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p398 4.m1423.l2649

Anyone that's used them before, or got constructive comments more than welcome .

I have a set of those fitted to my Spec C coupled with KW Clubsport's. I ordered them from Scooby World.
Make sure you get the MK II version with the Koyo bearing.
They enabled me to run -2 camber and an extra .5 caster.
So far so good

Phil as Jac says very good option if you don't want to use a max c top mount.
Give Alyn at ASP a ring he will no doubt be able to get them for you save the hassle of going to the states.

Cheers Arch, Jac & Nic .

I just used the eBay link for illustration purposes, as it was easier to cut&paste from there on the mobile.

I'll give Alyn a call when ordering it up, and I'll ask about the mkll version Nic, thx .

Here's what the MK II version looks like..

They will have a Koyo bearing and a manufacture date in 2013.

With a bit of fettling they can be made to look OE...

the RACE hasn't existed for some time Banny, and even the STREET has only very limited stock (think we have pretty much cleared them out over the last 6mths or so)

pricing simply call the office or email and we'll sort as postage can vary slightly (but will be competitive with the above egay link)

I'll go for one of your offset ones Alyn.
Question though:

At the moment I have standard Bugeye WRX suspension. However I have Bugeye STi springs ready to be fitted to the WRX struts.
Will these offset units only fit the STi springs, as I understand there is a slight difference between sti and WRX springs/topmounts?

Just off the phone from speaking to Ayn and ordering these up.

Was great speaking to you, and looking forward to getting some extra caster when these bad boys get fitted.

If your fitting them, make sure you re use the oem cone washer that is currently between your shock and top mount.

Just received these mk2 Whiteline offset caster topmounts, and must say I'm very impressed with them so far. The low compliance rubber and silky-smooth bearing seems like it'll be a perfect handling solution for a road car without the crashy bumpiness that a solid topmount would give. And with these adding about 5.5 degrees of caster, should be like night and day to the cornering of the car.

So, big thanks goes out to Alyn for the cracking price, great advice and all-round service. I'll definitely be making you my 1st port of call for future upgrades .

Cheers Also to Arch for collecting these in person when you were down at Alyn's yesterday .

I'll report further once these and the rest of my mod's have been fitted and geometry is set up.

Here's a few pictures of the topmounts, as you'll agree they do look great, and quite OEM at the same time .

These c-com mounts are about to replace the max-c mounts that came with a set of adjustable KYB struts I've just picked up, but not fitted yet.

They'll be fitted in the next few weeks or month, as I'm in no rush to fit the mountain of bits I've been collecting.

Could do with a prolonged dry spell so I can crack on with things tbh.

I'll report back on this thread once they're fitted, as I may be doing a trackday in March ahead of an annual road trip in April .
