i'm hoping to get it for my replacement ty754 box i'm picking up at the weekend.
I also use gulf competition engine oil & have to say it is very good
* there are 2 versions, make sure you get the right one for your type of gearbox!, if unsure ask Oilman from opie oils he will advise if you give him your cars specs etc. He advised me on either gulf or a millers type for mine.

no mate, for the gearbox/diff oil there are two types of 75-90.
here: http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-60162-gu...on-75w-90.aspx
& here: http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68951-gu...75w-90-ls.aspx
pretty sure if your normal gearbox/use it will be the 1st one not the latter 'LS' type.

In most cases the normal Gulf Comp 75w-90 will be the ideal choice in an Impreza and a 5L tub will be plenty to do the diff and gearbox.
If you're wondering how good it is, well Aston Martin use it in their race cars, so that's a pretty good start. We also have loads of customers and sponsored cars using it and have not had any negative feedback I can think of with any of the Gulf Competition.
Cheers
Tim
