Just wondering what the standard boost pressure run on the P1 is? and if anyone else has ever had them altered out of interest?

Also is the Turbo on the P1 the same as the standard MY00 Motors.

...and the standard MY00 motors could be taken to be the WRX/UK car which has a smaller turbo and runs 0.9 - 1.0 Bar boost as standard.

Hi there.

based upon my defi boost gauge my car peaks at 1.35-1.4bar boost and holds 1.15 bar. These values are consistent with the ones read straight from the subaru select monitor so they are both as accurate as each other.

At bruntingthorpe in 5th at approx 135mph I applied the throttle and saw a peak of just under 1.5bar. The ECU then cut out as that is way into overboost territory. I will also add it was very very cold so charge temps were fantastic.

As far as I am aware my car has a stock ecu as when purchased. I've had the car since it was 6months old (purchased with 7K on clock). It now has 21K so its nice and run in

The turbo charger unit is a IHI VF28 - which is the same as that fitted to version 5 and 6 STI cars (I think).

(edited to include turbo information)
Ian.
