Hi a year or two ago there was a thread about a company that did 6sp manual Gearbox conversion to a type of sequencial Box
They were going to do a mod on the Subaru 6sd Box
I've done a search but can't find it
I beleive it had a link and vote with car was to be done next ??

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
I can remember a Jap product offered to the Trade which was I bolt-on mechanism which mechanically in the shifter gave a 'H' pattern via a linear shifter motion
It was advertised in the early issues of Jap Performance Magazine/Banzai.
Bit like the Hurst drag race shifters of the 60's.

but that's not the whole story. You would need a dogbox to go with the Shifter in order for it to mimic a true sequential box, in that it can do clutchless changes at full, or near-full power.

You are right Paul.
When I had a go in Carman's RA with a 5 speed Possum Dog box, the speed through the gate, even 2nd to 3rd was so so much faster than a synchro box.
I don't think there is an economic answer to the thread's question?

range seems to be £6000- £45,000
I was impressed by the zeroshift option
It would seem to be usable in day to day use, unlike the WRC sequential types. I would also assume that a seamless Torque transfer would be more sympathetic to the whole Drive Train during spirited use
