Can someone tell me the best oil and grade to put in my MY01 bugeye which has now got 84,000 miles on,ive noticed that the engine sounds a little tappety to any ideas thanx steve

Mate, my old MY01 with 32k on the clock always sounded a bit tappety when cold until i switched from Mobil Motorsport to Motul 5w-40w at which point it was perfect.

It stayed on Motul until i sold it on.
