just looking at buying a backbox for a version 5 classic shape turbo impreza on scoobyworld, does anyone here own a ninja or vortex backbox just wondering how they sound, look and fit. any help would be great.

 

I have the Ninja and it sounds awesome....the vortex is meant to be a bit more, but i prefer the look of the Ninja. Any thing louder does become a bit of a bore, my sister had a pipe on an old AX, man what a pain, soooo noisy all the time.
I don't work for Scoobyworld, but really recommend the Ninja...especially as decatting the rest makes it even louder!!

 

I've got the original Afterburner with full decat, loud on full chat but not too bad on tickover. Best bit is it pops, bangs and spits flames when hot

do you need a FULL decat to get flames? immature i know but good fun!

few months ago i bought scoobyworld angled vortex and centre section to match - got the resonated ( doesnt seem to make much difference though!)
connected to a HKS downpipe.

The sound is deep, rumbles great and howls fantastic on acceleration, cant see how people could say is gets too much - its the best imho. excellent finish too. Motorway driving isnt bad either with the sound.
