Default Downpipe decat- car feels lethargic

Just got a DP decat as planned for some time from those nice chaps at Xtreme Scoobies. I can't really tell if the car is more or less powerful as yet (although I can certainly hear the turbo whizzing), but one thing I am pretty sure of is that I need to apply more throttle, just when pootling about, to get the same level of accelaration as before. I'm not saying that when I floor it, I don't get great acceleration (and boost is OK at 1.1b with Dawes)- although as I say I can't really tell whether the WOT power is better or worse, this feeling is much more when I'm using part-throttle, part boost (or no boost) for those round town drives.

Anyone else had similar experience? Should I check it over for leaks or have lambda looked at? Or is it that I (or the ECU?) just need to get used to the change?

Appreciate any comments

Yes I am having the same problem right now. Goes like a slug until you rev the nuts off it. Guess I am going to blow it up unless I get something fixed, reset or replaced...

I am particularly unhappy with the garage who have not replied to any of my messages.

Screwd.

I should point out that I'm not at all unhappy with Xtreme scoobies, who have been extremely helpful with everything I've had done with them so far- but as I only got the decat downpipe yesterday, I have not yet gone back to them for advice.

Cheers

What is the exhaust ? 2.5" ? Full 3" ? Any other mods ?

Apparently Full 3" systems on otherwise std Uk cars (td04 etc) can feel a bit like this, better with a 2.5" below about 380 bhp.

It's an H&S 3" downpipe, but the rest of the zorst is standard. Maybe if this is a known issue, I shouldn't worry. Seems to go alright when I put my foot down...
