Default Oil Temperature Sender.

Hi, I have bought a Apexi Oil Temp gauge with sender and wondered if anyone knew of where in the oil system I could fit it without having to tap a thread in?

Is there a oil temp sender already there that I could splice into?

Block now back together and both heads back on so far and as engine is on bench still, I thought now would be the best time to fit if I do need to tap in somewhere.

Thanks.

Ande,

There's a bung over the top of no. 3 cylinder that you can use to install the sender into. Possibly gives more accurate readings as there's no airflow over it as there is with a sump plug type sender.

See Stefan's fitting guide - scroll down the page to find the section: b. Oil Temp Probe

Cheers,
