K&N help!!!
#1
I've just finished fitting K&N induction, and started the engine. It started idling at 12-1300rpm. Is this normal, or have I done something drastically wrong? MAF electric connector, and the hose to the solenoid is connected, and can't think of anything else I've missed. Please help!

Sounds a bit daft but the same thing happend to me once when i was cleaning the engine bay.
found it was the rubber dust cap at the end of the accelerater cable that had come off and was stoping the cable from going all the way back in.
Prob' not this anyway

Right. Waited a few hours, but my patience finally ran out of fuel (have very little amount of it...)
After about a mile of slow driving, came to a junction, and as I came to a halt... Wey hey! Idled at 600rpm as it should do! Nice.
I think it was just the MAF getting readjusted to the extra air. It drives fine now.
