Are new age and classic flywheels interchangeable??

As above, i have a new age flywheel and clutch that i would like to fit to a classic.. Does anyone know if they have the same PCD etc etc.
Basically will it fit?

From what I've seen, I dont think they will do so, diameters are different, also throw of the cover forks too. Might use different length pivot lever and slave cylinder.

Damn, i know the clutch is a different diameter but that isnt a prob, are you sure the slave cylinder is diff??

I think if you fit with a new/revised release bearing, you may be able to get away with the different "throw/pivot ratio of the clutch cover release fingers, can only tell once fitted as further adjustment with the spanners on the clutch pedal link inside the car may ensue.
Easiest way is to look closely at the cover pressure fingers and measure the distance from edge to pivot points, see if the same on both new and old covers, if not, could be trouble getting enough clearance to change gears cleanly,if you see what I mean.

Are the flywheels the same fitment? obviously the contact area is diif but..

As long as the clutch you use bolts to the flywheel, and the friction area is the same, then they will work.

ive got both a clutch and flywheel.. I also have a spare block and box.. Ill try it if your really bothered.

Arent you using a new age flwyheel ( V7 on your car David )

The flywheel bolt patterns are the same.
