Try upgrading your ECU, but be warned go for something that is well proven. I have just fitted an Ekutec to my 99 along with a full BPM exhaust system which has given me about 50 BHP approx! I bought my parts from Macspower here in Ireland first class service and backup. I think Power engineering supply the UK.

Hi,

An ECU swap is a possible solution, but the ECUTek isn't available for your car. I have a 97 UK turbo with 344bhp still using the standard ECU (albeit with a few addons). My next mod will be a mappable ECU (LINK) but if you are aiming for big power it's a bit daft to go for that until you've done all your other upgrades, intercooler, turbo, fuel pump etc, otherwise you'll probably have to remap it EVERY time you add something else, in order to get the most out of it.

Cheers

Rich
