Default Clutch suddenly not working?

So, parked up the car christmas eve after driving back frome a friends all good, came out to it christmas day to go to parents and clutch isnt working, at all. Pedal feels fine but it's like its not disengaging the engine and gearbox. No funny noises, was driving totaly fine the day before. Its a hawk STI, anyone got any ideas?

I've had this in the hatch, or something similar. Try rolling it a bit, or nudging back and forwards. Mine was 3 years ago, and never done it since

Mine was in gear when the pedal was down. I had washed it the day before, so area was very damp, may have had something to do with it. Glad it's sorted

Wink clutch plate stuck to flywheel

this happened to me during a hot humid spell a few years ago. the way I freed it up was to place gear in 4th and turn engine over this did the trick instantly the clutch worked fine after . never happened since . how ever I was very lucky I didn't park close to brick wall , or it may of been put in reverse for obvious reasons.

same with my hatch. Hose pipe ban on so i washed the car with buckets instead. Water must've got in where it shouldn't have.
Went with some clunk , not a nice experience at all.
