Whine from the front of the 04 wrx in sharp right turns
I have just got my 04 WRX back from a shop with a new engine. On my way back home I was of course very sensitive for any noises it might provide. And I've heard one that got my attention, but not caused by the new engine.
I could hear some metallic whining in sharp right turns. The noise probably comes from front left side. There is no that noise when going straight, or in left turns (or in gentle right turns). The sound also disappear when I press the clutch pedal.
Firstly I thought it was something with the 2nd gear, because I was gearing down before sharp bends, but then I realised that it's only in right turns and it can also be heard on 3rd gear (but you have to try harder).
During engine repair, the transmission was not removed from the car (but they also changed whole front brakes, including calipers and disks).
Any ideas what it could be?
