EJ22T blocks to 6speed?
Hey im having some issues with my block, its a RCM 2,35 block i replaced my old EJ207, the engine and gearbox and clutch etc is lined up and works but the thread pattern seem to be different?
I can get my starter lined upp and assembled, also 2 top holes and also the 2 bottom ones with "pinbolts"
Are those old blocks not having same amount of holes as the newage ones?
The "guides" on the engine lines up in the gearbox perfectly also
best regards

They are the same fitment stud wise, but do not have the extra bolts of the newer blocks, all you need is the bottom starter bolt hole, several ways of doing it, I use a 14mm timesert insert in the gearbox hole, if you have the engine & box fitted together you can tap the g/box hole then open up the bottom starter hole to suit.
