Default Gear box oil blobeye

We had a thread on here a while ago recommending a gear box oil that can help with the age old Subaru problem of struggling to get it in reverse.

Tim recommended an oil that can help, that people have said its resolved there problems. Can i find the thread no.

If anyone can help that would be great.

I guess it would have been this, if I recommended it.

Ok thanks Tim, how many litres would I need?

Think you said that some buyers had success with the oil.

Thanks

Hi

It takes 3.5L for a 5 speed or 4.1L for a 6 speed.

As it's thin when it's cold (for a 75w-90) it helps to improve shifts when cold. As it's really good stuff, it also helps improve shifts all round.

Cheers

Tim
