I have searched but couldn't find anything on this. I have a 2012 2.5l Legacy with the Lineartronic trans. The concept is brilliant but is horribly hobbled by being made to behave like it is shifting gears. It defeats the purpose of the CVT! After looking at the diagrams and exploded views it seems as if it should be capable of infinite ratios instead of 6 false gears and the adverts for the new ones make it sound as if it is now being used this way.The utube videos Suba has posted show the trans working this way and describe it as having infinite ratios. Has anyone tried to reprogram one to work correctly?
