Default Jerking Banging on full lock..help

Hi all

so last night in car park i needed to use full luck and the car jerked/clunked/knocked quite badly on full lock left.

I tried full lock right and it didn't seem as bad but was definitely there and audible.

it drives without noise or issue at speed and is only happening at full lock in tight turning in 1st or reverse.

my thoughts are could be any of the following -
cv?
driveshaft?
gearbox?
diff?

any ideas / comments appreciated

cheers
Steve

Hi.

so car is an 06 plate hawkeye sti spec D with 6speed with dccd.

I've driven this morning and no sign cold or at norm temp. last night it was hot after spirited drive, that is only difference.

not sure makes any difference but car also has BC adjustable coilovers.

Thanks

This is only a guess.... Top mounts knackered? causing spring to jam then release on rotation? someone more technical will keep you right

Thanks or input.

Alas I'm not sure it matters too much now.

I'm currently sat at the side of services with smoke pouring from turbo.

never rains but it pours 😂😂
