the 02 is in the headers underneath the drivers side 3 wires coming out of it running up side under bonnet , if ures has had a decatt its the egt sensor thats been removed , thats in the oem downpipe , ring me on 01271-345553 if you want i will explain

Hi mate thanx for your reply but i cant find my o2 sensor a mate of mine says its in the cat but mines been decated, the exhaust is 4inch straight from turbo to back of car and i cant see it anywere. I got intouch with a friend who as got one decated and is hasnt got a lambda sensor on and his runs fine just like mine did when i bought it 2 weeks ago. Its really doin my head in now so i was goin to change the MAF but didnt want to waste money without me knowing were the o2 sensor is on mine.

had this on mine every time the 02 sensor fails 93classic the early mafs are almost indistructable . ile odds its your 02sensor thats failed tripping the 23maf code , the 02 sensor is in the headers on drivers side or in the up pipe on early classics or just after the turbo on later models.if the 02 fails or is failing the ecu goes in to very rich mode car runs like a dog under normal driving but is ok under hard excelleration . when running on tickover the 02 will give a voltage of 0.2 to 0.9volts fluctuating all the time , if it dont its knackered get a universal bosch one from www.sensors.co.uk about 50quid comes with wiring block . 3wires blacks are heater wires white is signal wire hope this helps
