Hi, I choose plug heat rating according to need, 8's are fine for very hard use but foul up if used for normal driving. The VF36 and 37 are identical in performance apart from response, it wont work too well on a 2.2, the turbine housing is too restrictive being a P15

    Hi Bob,

Firstly thank you for taking the time and going into detail on your projects
The End of Phase 1 ... The beginning of Phase 2 & Here we go again, open book and spoilt for choice. In the first one with the vf37 you use heat rating 8 plugs but in the next project which seems more balls to the walls you use a 7 heat rated spark plug. So i'm just curious as to why. Also did you ever swap to the vf36 and do any testing as im swapping to a 36 on my 2.2l stroker gc8 hoping to get a bit of help as I have no VVT.

    Regards,
    Russell
