Conversation Between Geds and robbie-mac

I bought mine with the exhaust centre section and back box done with a Blitz Nurspec S- The centre section is straight through and something has been removed. I'm not sure whether what is removed was the second cat or just a de-resonator. Actually I was going to post a question about it. If it is the second cat and I'm about to stick a K&N air filter in that should have her about 300bhp just needing a remap to take her to a comfortable 330.

I understand a Prodrive upgrade consists only of a decat of the second cat, an air filter and a re-map. And that is warrantied. No talk of changing pistons etc.

Thanks mate, Yeah she is a beast. Got a few problems tho. Melted pistons!! Just found out the other day. Been re-mappd with standard internals. New 2.5 pistons are soft. Having to get a complete rebuild with forged pistons and con rods. Total nightmare!!
Beware if your Hawkeye is re-mappd with standard internals, running on boost may occur damage.What BHP is yours running at mate?

Beautiful mate, My 2002 wrx and sti were both blue/black mica. its defo my favourite. I held out for a black hawkeye STi but couldn't get one so settled for blue. But the black is best.stick a set of prodrive pff7's , prodrive springs and a pentagon tint and shes well set. Oh and change those side repeaters for smoked ones from carnosierre.
