http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compstaticcalc.html i get a comp ratio of 8.32:1 with 0.8mm gasket,
7.99:1 using 1.3mm gasket
7.8:1 using 1.6mm head gasket
can you remember what thickness gasket you used on yours and would 0.8mm be safe inyho cheers Al. -
Aug 19, 2012 01:29 PMhi Daz long time no hear/see glad to see you got your car built up n running lookin good m8, Q for you i have a 2.5 short motor fitted with cp forged pstns and 3 thou cl, got it from a lad who now has built a 2.1 strkr drag car so he assures me around 5k road miles, i am rebuildng my car after being sat on the drive for 18mths aft my2.5 decided to split a liner on a track day doh! so have been waiting for a motor to replace , anyways i will be running md321t turbo 850 inj, gems ecu, stiv3 heads doin maths with:

my target 400bhp this time as with block not pegged like urs don`t want ano split liner, any advice most appreciated thx Al.
