hi tim , bit of a bummer that ideally 17" are better on a classic , to clear the brembos you would need either the rota gra etc or if you want to go wider the rota g force 17x8 etc , it all depends on your budget what sort of pattern you are looking for , the newage 17" sti wheels fit over brembos to .

    Hi Mags,

I am informed that you are the man in the know when it comes to wheels and sizes etc:

So my story is: Brought Scooby 2000 turbo UK 99 two days ago.

Got puncture in 1 wheel, turns out wheel has a couple of cracks in it. I am tempted to get repair done, but not sure.

Prob best if I get shot of the wheels and get some replacements.

Current Rims are 18 8JJ with 215/35/18 tyres on. Not a well known make Unirace RE30.

So I have brembo 4 pots on the front. What size wheels can I use, can I go down to 17's to get a larger profile tyre, will these clear 4 pots.

Can you advise what offset if standard and will standard Subaru wheels be able to fit.

Gutted as I want to drive the car but can't at the mo, its a real pain as only had 1 day!

Any help or advice you can offer is grately appreciated.

    Cheers

    Tim
