    That one is already sold.

They're uniquely numbers so you need to get hold of the number and have a good search about for it to find the history. Best place to check is on p1woc.co.uk.

You need to check the condition of rear arches and underneath the car at the rear for rust. If it is some parts will need removing, shot blasting and coating for protection. Check for engine rebuilds or any engine work because they were so tightly mapped when originally released that many people damaged the engines by running the wrong fuel. If it hasn't been remapped it will need doing asap for UK fuel because they were originally mapped for jap fuel.

Don't fall into the trap of over paying. P1 owners trying to push the price of the car up but many people are desperate and selling. I bought at £7k then have spent £4k doing it up but at least I now know it is perfect.

Hi Chris, I was thinking of doing the same as you. I currently have a MY04 WRX which I was going to trade in against a P1. Have you seen the P1 on e bay by affordable cars of kent? Do you think it is worth the price? Any tips about what to look for... bad bits on P1s?
    Thanks, Chris
