Oct 19, 2010 08:45 AMHi, The 06 WRX and STI have the same 550cc high flow injectors which are good for 360bhp-ish. Was looking at a turbo change, but am still running the standard cat downpipe at the moment. What sort of money are you after for the turbo?
Have read various comments about the vf35 turbo, most very very positive. But the only one negative points to boost leakage or creap. Is the wastegate on your turbo ported or standard?
Also, do you know if its a direct fitment onto my car or will I need to change oil lines etc from my TD04 turbo.
Sorry for delay, posted reply on my wall yesterday by accident! DOH.
Cheers,

Oct 15, 2010 09:11 PMNot going too bad, fitted the cam belt and covers today.
I am considering another turbo upgrade, I don't suppose you are interested in a VF35 (STI) turbo and appropriate injectors ?
If you are just starting to modify your WRX this is the cheapest way to get a decent power hike (with a remap of course !)
Last power run was 333bhp with this turbo and injectors.
Cheers,

Oct 15, 2010 03:29 PMYep! Mine were in gun metal but cracked a wheel with all the pot holes around here so just bought another and sprayed them gloss black! Much much better! Howz the re-build going?

Oct 14, 2010 12:50 PMHi There,
I did have the same wheels with the polished face but had to be replaced under warranty !
Water gets under the edges of the lacquer and it discolours, they did look brilliant at first but three months later they were dreadful.
Cheers,
