Oct 12, 2011 01:56 AMHi buddy. No probs mate. Been busy myself! The mods you've done sound good. I also had mine mapped 2-3 weeks ago by Andy Carr. Like you said feels alot different. Mines like a new car! Andy reckons around 270-275bhp & 280lb trq. Do me! He also did my Launch Control and mapped pops and bangs in. Like anti lag but cheaper. Lol engine lights on tho, it's the Neutral Position Switch in the gear box. Common fault on ours he said. Got one sat here now, getting the my mate at his garage to fit it ASAP. My cooling fans on alot. They do create alot of heat our cars. Even more so when it's warm! Just keep an eye on the gears, or check the last time the gear box oil was changed. Could be that, cheap easy fix! I'm looking for the v8/9 interior centre console now for mine. Fancy a change! There isn't many of ours left now your right. Still see afew classics in our colour but not many Newage. Glad all's ok your end buddy. Let you know how the Neutral Switch goes! Hope the gears is nothing major.

Jul 13, 2011 03:16 AMThanks for comments John. Prob spent including paint and chrome on the engine etc £2000-£2500 and still not finished. On a rolling road I got 244bhp 242lbs tqe. Pretty good to say it's got a green panel filter, full exhaust with a prodrive sports cat down pipe. Sounds just right to me with the vortex back box. Did have a ninja 1 back box but it was alittle too quite. You sound like you know what your talking about and know what you want! Even better with you already owning scoobys. With my side skirts I just got my mate to paint mine. STI skirts have a twist on them but I didn't have the cash to but them. I'm also in SNOC.CO.UK which is just for Newage Owners. Try there that's where I got alot of info from. My mate had a new up pipe fitted. Said it took hours to fit but well worth it! For front spliter I'd defo check out HT autos first. Ask for mark! You will have to start a thead on Scoobynet of the changes you do. Before and after. Sure it will look sweet mate!

Jul 12, 2011 05:25 PMcheers for the message mate, yeh i allready have a big craving to start modifying her, iv got a few plans for her. i need the matching colour side skirts, front spolier a biger back spoiler, hayward and scott exhaust, tinted back windows.( she hasnt even got a dump valve yet lol) i dont wanna plaster her with graphics, i do however want more bhp eventually. what is yours running at? i love your car man, how much have you spent on the mods on your car? well if you can give me any advice i will take it because im a bit of a learner.lol i did have a legacy gtb before, and a turbo 2000 wagon before that, but the big end went on the wagon,so i had to get rid. im loving my new scoob tho. is yours great to drive? because my up pipe is broke shes sluggish and not running right, but i get my h+s up pipe fitted next week which should bring her back to life.

Jul 7, 2011 10:34 PMHi buddy. Sorry it's took me ages to reply. We've got a 2 week old baby and sleep is a must. Ha. The spoiler I've got is off the GB270. Perfect fit if you can find one! The other one I wanted was off the uk300. Prodrive sell them or check on here, eBay, or Scooby breakers. There just my choices pal! With Some aftermarket spoilers you have to drill extra holes in the boot. That's what I didnt fancy doing tho. HT Autos do rear spoilers, as do DR Motorsport. And they spray them for you two! Dont think HT spray them anymore! Scoobyworld do one too, you have to drill the holes tho. Your call doing that mate. The colour is 94H Red Mica Metalic Red. My mate owns a body shop near manchester if your local and need out spraying etc. If you need or want any more advice just give us a shout. I'll try and get back to you ASAP. If Im not with the baby. Lol
