I updated my TTG 720T using TT Home and I now find it can't connect to the traffic server without me deleting my phone from it and putting it back on again. It also won't let me use the hands free via bluetooth any more, this used to work fine, I'd get in the car and TT and phone would instantly connect.

I'm not sure what to do to make it right again, do I take it back to the first ever back-up I did? Would it have made a difference that I used TT Home on the PC with XP to first update it then used my laptop with Vista for the second update? It's only tow months old and I feel like I've screwed it up for good

Also I have a 4GB card in it, now am I supposed to update the card, the TT or both?

It worked beautifully until I got my numptie hands on it!

If its only two months old I would drop it back to its factory settings.
LOL tom tom updates always guaranted to scew up the settings.
If its aint broke do not update it.

I agree, my TT OneV2 looked like it was fubar'ed after an update not long after I bough it. Did a factory reset, and it's been fine since.

Right, I finally got around to looking into sorting my TomTom out but I don't have the original back-up saved so I'm basically screwed.

How can I reset it back to factory standard?

It's so annoying not being able to use it with my phone hands free and also not being able to use traffic which I'm paying a subscription for.
