any-body have any clue,
on how to do a fresh install on xp,
or where i can get a whole down load from..??

the pc has got a trogen on it some-where
and its not bootin in normall mode
cuts of, just after the welcome page, no beeps or nothing
im havin to run it via safe with net working.

yes ive tried, avg, adware, norton, but they dont work in safe mode.. very helpful...

ive tried to do a restore but the last day it will
let me go back to is the day the virus happend..

the place i bought it didnt give me a cd
but its genuine copy installed..

Did it come with a recovery CD ? Otherwise, you need to ask the people you bought it from for the Windows XP CD or borrow a genuine one from somewhere

Essentially, you need to refresh the windows files on your computer, with the original ones from the hard disk, removing anything infected in the process

We can talk you through it when you get your hands on the CD

 

if you can run it in safe mode with networking, then visit trend housecall for an online scan.
