Default ad blockers

What ad-blocker can I install for Firefox that does that and nothing else?
Because everyone and his dog seem to be forever trying to cheat you, steal from you, sell you tat or otherwise irritate the hell out of you I basically don't trust anybody I can't look in the eye and half expect most ad-blockers to be having me over in some way.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../adblock-plus/

This works wonders on Firefox for me.

Or shouldn't I post this for you as it's an advert?!

Adblock Plus works really well. It was driving me nuts that every site I went on had ads for the last thing I had searched for on ebay or Amazon. No ads at all now.

Just replace the HOSTS file.

Works with all browsers you have installed.
