New All in 1 Printer recommendations
As per my previous thread our trusty old HP Laserjet 2200D has died and it would seem not worth trying to get it repaired. It also only printed B&W and we like to do the occasional colour print and a few photos. We have an old HP all in 1 but thats been dead for a while looking to replace both with something modern. So much choice out there its hard to know whats what so am starting to read up. But if anyone has recently done the same thing what do you recommend? Our basic requirements:
-Scanner/copier
-Wifi printing
-Duplex (both sides) printing
-Decent photo printing
-£100 budget (dont really use enough to justify spending any more)
Cheers

i bought a cannon mp610 (but is was a 18 months ago!) and can highly recommend it -- far better than my previous Epson (far easier/user friendly). Probably not available now, but if I was buying again, I wouldnt stray from Cannon

Funny you should say that as Ive been researching a few models on Amazon by reading customer reviews and HP seem to generate quite a few negative reviews at my budget level. Canon seem to fair a lot better from what Ive read so far. Thing is there are lots of older models that are bargain basement price now but not on Canons site so hard to find full specs and proper reviews.

Yep funnily enough went for an MX410 in the end - Staples doing a deal for £39.99. Not that well constructed but lets see how she prints and scans. Compatible ink available on Amazon for £15 for B&W & colour. Couldnt bring myself to spend lots on a printer as they all seem to die and we dont use one much so better off just buying a new one as and when.
