VOB to AVI

Anyone recommend a free VOB to AVI convertor?

Found some old DVDs of home movies, but they were not finalised, so had to recover them using IsoBuster. I tried one convertor and it wouldn't recognise the vob file.

mkv2vob - good at converting to mpg..... maybe then you can convert that to AVI?

DVD Shrink is very good and free.

Thanks for the replies. Started with Handbrake and it seems to be working nicely.
