We all know that the other OS's collect data. Even Apple have been open with their latest point updates and set controls for the user to limit the flow of data from the handsets.

But the point is, you are told before installing it that it wants access to various things/permissions.
If spackers are too thick to realise what they mean, then they should give up the techy android path, and go back to the painting by numbers competition
If an app wants your location, then you either let it, or deny it.
Its no different from some unwitting clown putting bank details into a dodgy website.
I do agree that maybe the permissions should be fleshed out a little, but even if it explained everything, donkeys would still just install it anyway without checking it.
